When the Death card shows up we all know it represents change. So the relationship energy of this card indicates that the relationship is about to go through some type of change. It can indicate that you committed too soon and need to take a step back. If you are in a relationship for a long time the card could indicate that you have drifted apart you are still together but seem like strangers when it comes to how well you know and understand your partner. Unless you have a passion that you both share this card could indicate the end of a long-term relationship. On the positive side, it could also indicate that your relationship is starting a new phase. Perhaps one or both partners are retiring or have a new passion that they both enjoy and it is stimulating a new spark in the relationship.
If you are single it could indicate a change from single to starting a relationship. It could also indicate that something[relationship that you thought was over] or someone from the past is resurfacing again.
